Howie is now a proven dad! His first son was born on April 12th in Texas at West Texas Gold Alpacas! The bright luster of Avatar (Grandsire) and Howie were immediately evident in this new cria's fleece!

Howie added to his collection of ribbons this spring with another blue in the MIAS Fleece Show in March. There were not enough fleece entries to give a Dark Color Championship ribbon but Howie's fleece scored just three points below the Light Color Reserve Champion fleece! Howie is a very fine boy and Riverwind Farm is very excited to have him as our herdsire! He has two more confirmed pregnancies to two girls here at Riverwind Farm: WT Gold's Kewee and WT Gold's Dusty Rose. These cria are due this coming October. Call to reserve your own mobile breeding to this wonderful male! As the TXOLAN judge commented at Howie's first show (2008) where he won a blue as a brown male juvenile and then brought home the brown male color championship, "extreme fineness, extreme uniformity of fleece all over his body from head to toes, totally correct in everyway, sporting a highly developed elite fleece."
